Hello! Some updates for the week. :)
1. ADJamb (Adventure Jamboree) 2007
5 of us went down to SMU today to attend the ADJamb briefing. Basically, they showed us some videos of what the Uni ODACs do (go on overseas trips and stuff), introduced us to 2 new sports (canoe polo and underwater hockey), and tried to get us to interact with other JCs.
ADJamb is a 36h event from 8am of 11th dec to 8pm of 12th dec. They aim to give the OACs/ODACs of diff JCs in Singapore a chance to interact, and to get us to try out the new and different sports available in the university ODACs. It looks quite cool, you'll get to do things like biking, rock climbing, kayaking etc.!

Regristration ends next saturday 27/10. Respond if interested!
2. Overseas Trip during the holidays
We'll be going down to the outdoor trip organisations soon. The trip will most likely take place mid-dec (around the prev ITC dates), after the kid's day camp. As of now, here are the suggestions we have received for our overseas trip! Any more?
Krabbi, Thailand
Perak, Malaysia
Ophir, Malaysia
Mt Kinabalu
3. ITC 2007
Confirmed dates 4th - 6th Nov 2007. Start on 4/11 7am, end at around 6pm on 6/11.
Tentative schedule:
Day 1 - Dragon boating (sea), First Aid Mob
Day 2 - Land Ex, Campfire, Stayover at Ubin
Day 3 - Rock Climbing/Abseiling (air)
4. First Aid Skills Refreshing Session 24/10
There'll be a first aid skills refreshing sesison by our very own first aid chiefs this wed! :) This is to prepare us for the First Aid Mobilisation Activity during ITC where we will get a chance to put our theory knowledge into practical use. Bring pen and paper to take notes or sth. :D most imptly, bring yourself!
yep that should be all for now! let's make this eoy hols an EXCITING, ENRICHING, FUN-FILLED and OUTDOOR-ACTIVITY-PACKED holiday okay! :D
