note: the seniors remind us to have our jts soon - after our promos to the start of their A's (31st)
2nd note: FOS soon. because the senior girls cannot play bball or soccer, we will have to stick to games we're more equally matched in. e.g. volleyball, floorball, captain's ball, frisbee.
they wont be training for it, and neither will we.
but pt will start right after promos.

I have some really bad bad news. lol. :D ignore that previous partially emo entry, cos we have bigger problems than that currently. okay. maybe not. but i'd like to bring your attention to a serious serious problem. ><
ytd, we didnt earn that much profit... lol. Think we only earn less than what was mentioned after minusing most of our expenditure. Post Mortem after promos. a lot of things to address. I don't know whether I'd still remember what to address then. But. ANYWAY. We didn't earn as much as we thought we did, and oh well. it's over.
okay. so we screwed up our budgetting. that's the main problem. and there's other problems like the -.- planning and sort. but zZzz. i'm currently traumatised by the bad news. cant think coherantly! ):
but lol. like what shixian said, "as long as we don't make a loss, we still win."
because our maf is probably the most varied form of maf we can get. we have a games stall! :D and and, we had fun, we learned from this experience, and we were together as a batch. and all the seniors thought that we have a damn zai structure! i guess we entertained a lot of people with the balloon rescues too! mm m. we did so many things differently! :D yupp. if it's the process that counts, i think most of us will agree that ytd was still as zai, even with the bad news right?!
okay. i will like to apologise for getting ur hopes up, and giving you false information. yeah. sorry. ):
oh! and expenditure's not including ytd's lunch and dinner. :D that's how bad things are. ><
umm. yea.
study hard la. if u're smart, u wont screw things up so easily.

[edited] because shixian thinks ppl will laugh at us. -.-" grr. anyway. THIS IS THE 99th POST! :D:D of the WE! blog.
Note to eileen from sx: learn to edit your post properly! =D.

hey. MAF has ended.
i doubt many of you will read this entry, because most of you will probably be mugging. Just want to say, good job. (:
Thanks for working so hard for MAF. It wasn't easy; there's a lot of stupid things we had to do, and perhaps it wasn't the best time to bother about something else other than your studies. But, it has ended, and it has ended fairly well. I'm not really sure about how much we earned, not a lot i guess, but (: at least we did this together ya? Every single balloon sold has probably gone through like 15 different pairs of oacian's hands. i think a lot of our egos have hurt by all those rejection we faced when we're selling the balloons. but it's okay, it's good that when we try hard, we do it together.
it's not about how much you earn, or how zai your structure is at the end of the day, but how much effort you have put in. i think we can give ourselves a pat on the back if we have done our best. (:
MAF next yr will be an entirely different experience i guess. we won't be planning, we won't be doing the weird and funny stuff. no promotion booth that fails to the max. no order forms that cant really show the correct colour. no random mess ups anymore for us i guess.
haha. on the other hand, it means one less opportunity for us to work together, to spend time with each other, to show our batch spirit.
our pledge:
we, together as one, shall put in our very best,
in all that we do, leaving no one behind.
we will put our limits to the test,
with friendship that will forever bind,
and thro all these, we shall always have in mind,
that the WE! spirit, shall never die.
our pledge reflects a lot. haha. it has very high expectations as well. it's easy to claim that we have satisfied all of them, difficult to admit that we're not good enough. we promised a lot back then in YLTC. but if we reflect, how many of our promises have we fulfilled? it's time to start looking at our own mistakes, and stop looking at everyone else's. we're only good enough to criticise, i guess, only when we're flawless. i'm not implying anything, not even thinking. it's currently 2.50am, my brain doesn work that well.
how much have we grown since YLTC?
perhaps it's not wise to bring in such a serious topic after such a zai MAF. but, we can always aim to be much better than we are. how much more are we willing to give to oac.
my friend asked, "isn't oac just a recreational cca? when u all just do the things u wanna do? what do you expect it to be? a lifestyle?"
i disagree, and went into an endless debate with him. but sometimes, having some evidence helps.
not emoing. i think.
just. hoping. i guess.

MAF structure!
Hello people! The structure is more or less complete after work today, but some thingd to take note of (do help contribute!):
1. Sides - how do we cover it? Do we use banner/method used today (sticks to weave a netting) or any other method?)
2. Roofing - any other method apart from using the cargo net?
3. Other methods to improve the structure?
Anw thanks to all who came down. There were some miscommunication and manpower allocation problems here and there, but it's all done and over with (: or for now at least...
Jiayou with your mugging! And to the random person that actually checks here, here's a video for you (:

(de)motivate.
I am so totally sick of the maths tys. i think it stands for torture yourself. anyways i made this parody demotivational poster for fun. 15min of tears of laughter and relief from integration and sp2 hybridisation. reminds me of my childhood when i didnt have differential equations and "can you shut up, actually"s in my life. enjoy.
