Kid's Camp and HCI Mentoring Camp
Hey 33rd,
This is Eileen, as your Adventure Chief, if you remember. Basically just a reminder. We ARE going on with KID'S Camp, and we are also having a HCI Mentoring Camp. Both are doing to be held during the June Holidays.
Kid's Camp - 3rd and 4th of June
HCI Mentoring Camp - 5th and 6th June
I've updated the batch before about this, and this is just a reminder.
We're going down to recee the site on 31st March from 3pm to 6pm.
And we will conduct dry runs on 26th and 27th June, during the first week of our June holidays.
Anyway, the Kid's Camp is our CCA's SL project, so please take ownership in this. (: Rachel and I have tried to tank as much as possible, but ultimately, the respective Chiefs will still have to be the ones carrying it out. (: We have made changes to the proposals, which we will print out and return to you, on 31st of March so that as we recee, you can make changes to your proposals.
Note that attendance will be taken for recee and dry runs because it is going to be included in our CIP hours. Yeah.

Next, it's about HCI Mentoring Camp. We're working together with HCI Mentoring to help them hold another Kid's camp, which will give us CIP hours as well. But please don't think so much of the CIP hours as we're agreeing to this purely out of goodwill and because they really need facilitators. People who are unable to come for the camp, please notify me.
Anyway, we don't have to plan for the HCI Mentoring Camp, and we're just facilitators.

YLTC junior
hello all!
today some of us went down to tiong bahru to meet Alex, our bike hike liaison-person-cum-coordinator. well, he's organising a camp (not related to bike hike), and he's invited us to join as instructors. the details are as follows:
Alex's YLTC 2008 (yes it's called yltc too!)
participants: pri sch kids
instructors: camp vision, shine, scgs, rgs, HCOAC!
takeaways: CIP hours, PAYM shirts, instructor's shirt
camp skills/activities: footdrill, standard pt, war games (and more)
dates:
> training camp (compulsory attendance, must be there throughout) 20-22/3 (thurs-sat of blocks week)
> pre-camps tbc
> YLTC 24-30/5 (first week of june hols)
if you're interested, inform marilyn/yuhui by WED 27/02/08. the dates are not within our control so yup you'll have to fit your schedule to the stipulated dates. sorry about that!
p.s. btw i lost my phone, so if there's anything, just im/email/call me at 64681673. yup thanks(:

To all students,
It has come to our attention that an escaped and possibly dangerous pedophile has somehow gained entry to our school compound. The school authorities have been trying to track him down, but already he has managed to claim one innocent victim.
The following are pictures taken from our CCTV camera:
Notice the look of fear and loathing in this young girl's eyes.
Terrified, she attempts to flee...
...but the pedophile pursues her mercilessly.
Shortly after this picture was taken, both the suspect and the victim disappeared from the scene. Their whereabouts are unknown but the police fear the worst.
Do not be taken in by his benign expression! If you have any information about this man, please dial 1800-CAINIAO immediately. Please, the fate of our children depends on you.
