IMPORTANT
hello 33rd! some final issues to settle before the big A's (:O)
1) INVESTITURE - ok here's the latest problem - the badges will take 3 weeks to make and it's the second week (if i rmber correctly) today i.e. 23rd Wed was supposed to be our Investiture but the juniors cannot make it because of some trip to OCS. Also, cos some juniors are going overseas after that week or sth, so the juniors are proposing to have the invest without the badging part cos if it's any later some ppl will miss it. THEREFORE ALL MONDAYS (cos some juniors end school at 5pm and LT can only be booked till 6) AND WEDNESDAYS ARE OUT. and most probably so are tues and fri cos of H3.
SO, i need to know if you guys are okay with going on with invest without the badges or if you're seriously against it. i will send another relay msg to inform you guys about it but just TAG or MESSAGE me to tell me what you think. if nobody replies i will take it that the default decision is WE GO ON WITHOUT THE BADGES AND EVERYONE IS AGREEABLE WITH IT - AND THUS ZHENRUI AND I WILL ARRANGE A SUITABLE DATE. if this happens, we will work out the badging part later if you guys want to uh pin the badges on your successors ahaha. the date of invest will affect the juniors more cos they have the big QM day and they probably need invest to really get going with all the activities (e.g. MAF which is coming up soon)
**UPDATED** we're only short of a few badges SO our solution is we will use ours first. yuhui and i will be using ours for the CIs first, if we need more then we'll ask you guys personally :)
2) PAINTING OF QM ROOM! ok is this supposed to be a secret? hahaha okay nevermind this is quite important. we don't have to get it done before invest (i think the seniors did it after invest last year? they just banned us from qm room for a couple of days we can always do the same if necessary :) ) alright, would yall prefer random scribbling or a nice mural painting kinda thingy? we're going to need someone to design something. just post anything here that you have! if nobody has anything by 20th july, then we'll probably have to get some ppl to do it? so be spontaneous and submit anything that you have! :D anyway as you all know, QM ROOM WALL IS RUNNING OUT OF SPACE! so if you have the time, just pop by QM room and see if there's anywhere we can use that you like.
if anyone else has a better way of doing this, tag or message me and we'll rethink it from there :)
3) ISP CCA RECORDS - okay as you all know, track nationals won't end till wed and it is the day that the system ends. sooo mr ling said that he will be updating all our activities and endorsement ONLY AFTER WED, so he'll be getting an extension for OAC. i dont know how possible that is but yeah, i will send a relay msg to yall immediately after our activities are updated. meanwhile, some activities are already in the dropdown options so just select those first. this is how it will go - Comm. I/Cs of each event will be Committee Heads, and the rest of the batch will select Main Committee. (i've proposed bike hike to be added as well cos external activities can be included. others include kid's camp, maf, and skill courses.) select only those activities that you have participated in!
